Curious Creatures

Imaginary animals, invented one species at a time.

My Curious Creatures began as an art challenge to combine three completely different animals into one imaginary creature.

Painted in acrylics, each one became its own strange little species, complete with a name and personality. I had so much fun figuring out how wings, paws, tentacles, scales, feathers, and other unexpected parts could somehow belong together. They’re playful experiments in imagination, color, and what happens when you stop worrying about whether something could actually exist.
